Comment to the State Board of Elections on Proposed Regulations for Public Campaign Finance Program, Part 6221.16(c)

Reinvent Albany writes in support of the new regulations proposed by the Public Campaign Finance Board regarding contribution cards.
The proposed regulations make it so that if contribution cards do not include the contributor’s phone number and email address, the contribution shall not be matched. We believe this will help prevent fraud and abuse in future elections.
We appreciate the Board’s professionalism and dedication to continuously improving the program.
