Support for Three Bills Creating a More Ethical NY Government

As part of our advocacy for ethical NY government, Reinvent Albany reissued memos of support for the following bills:

• A2236 (Simon) – Requires online publishing of NYS judges’ financial disclosure statements.
• S5590 (Liu) – Establishes late fees for failure to complete lobbying training on time.
• S4857 (Skoufis) / A463 (Paulin) – Requires financial disclosure statements of candidates for office to be posted on the Commission on Ethics and Lobbying in Government (COELIG) website.

We urge the Legislature to pass these bills, and the Governor to sign them.
