  • S2638 (May) – Protects Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI) proceeds from raids by prohibiting transfers to general fund.
  • S462-A (Hoylman-Sigal) / A1518-A (Weprin) – Authorizes the use of cameras in New York State’s appellate and trial courts.
  • S945 (Jackson) – Amends Article VII of the NYS Constitution to give the legislature equal powers to the governor in the budget process.
  • A2653 (Shrestha)Ends automatic approval of some gubernatorial appointees.
  • S3849 (Hoylman-Sigal) / A1100-A (Bores) – Authorizes legislature to increase number of NY Supreme Court justices.
  • S5858 (Gounardes) – Restores comptroller pre-audit 30 days after emergency order in effect.
  • A6233 (Carroll R) Closes loophole allowing LLCs and corporate entities to be used to exceed state limits on campaign contributions.
  • S5927 (Salazar)Creates the nonpartisan legislative budget office. This is a new memo.
  • S2024-A (Krueger) – Gives the NYC Independent Budget Office access to business tax expenditure data for analysis. This is a new memo.

We urge the bills to be voted out of committee, and passed by the full Senate and Assembly.
