Support for ERIC, opposition to less SUNY/CUNY transparency

As part of our advocacy for open, accountable NY government, Reinvent Albany reissued a memo of support for the following bill:

• S1356-A (Skoufis) / A3649-B (Taylor) – Authorizes NY to share voter roll data with other states. This bill was amended and re-introduced in the Assembly by AM Taylor.

This bill has passed the Senate. We urge the Assembly to pass, and the Governor to sign it.

We also reissued a memo of opposition to the following bill:

• S2047-A (Webb) – Amends definition of “reportable business relationship.” We urge the Legislature to reject this bill.
