Watchdog Memos of Support for Bills to Expand NYS Ethics Code

Watchdog groups support the following bills, which will expand the New York State code of ethics:

• S8420A (Biaggi) – Amends State Code of Ethics to Include a Duty to Report Misconduct (see a PDF of our Memo of Support)
• S8421 (Biaggi) – Amends State Code of Ethics to Explicitly Prohibit Harassment and Discrimination (see a PDF of our Memo of Support)

We urge the Legislature to pass these important bills.
