To help the public understand how the budget impacts our priorities, Reinvent Albany published a chart comparing the state’s three budget proposals and stating our position on each issue.
The table outlines the differences in policy in the budget proposals released by the Governor, Senate, and Assembly. Each row identifies where individual proposals can be found in the legislation. In the rightmost column, Reinvent Albany states whether we support or oppose the proposal.
We hope this will clarify how the NYS budget affects state transparency, democracy, accountability, and spending.
