As part of our advocacy for open, accountable NY government, Reinvent Albany reissued memos of support for the following bills:
- S543-A (Gianaris) / A2170-A (Dinowitz) – Fully ends NY’s Opportunity Zone tax break. This bill was moved from Senate Budget and Revenue to Senate Finance.
- S8142 (Comrie) / A9231 (Zebrowski) – Repeals 2019 changes to the Public Authorities Control Board. This bill was moved out from Assembly Corporations to Assembly Ways and Means. It is currently on the Floor Calendar in the Senate.
We urge the bills to be voted out of committee, and passed by the full Senate and Assembly.
