This year, the Senate’s one-house budget includes legislation ending NY’s tax breaks for private jets and luxury yachts. These handouts, both slipped into the budget by state leaders in 2015, are among the most obscene tax breaks in New York’s history.
We urge the state to pass the bills in the budget, and issued memos of support for both bills:
- S2556 (Hoylman-Sigal) / A1523 (Carroll) – Ends private jet tax break.
- S2557 (Hoylman-Sigal) / A1464 (Carroll) – Ends luxury yacht tax break.
