As part of our advocacy for open, accountable New York government, Reinvent Albany urges Governor Hochul to sign the following bills passed by the Legislature:
- Expanding e-filing in NYS courts (S7524 (Hoylman-Sigal) / A10350 (Shimsky)) – This bill is supported by Reinvent Albany and Scrutinize.
- Prohibiting conflicts of interest among BOE employees (S612-D (Mayer) / A1244-D (Jacobson))
We also urge Governor Hochul to veto the following bill:
- Requiring government agencies to notify public employees if their disciplinary record is disclosed under FOIL (S5500-B (Skoufis) / A6146-B (Buttenschon))
