Support for Two Bills Strengthening NYS Government

As part of our advocacy for open, accountable NY government, Reinvent Albany issued a memo of support for the following bill:

• S8445 (Fahy) / A10097 (Solages) – Requires disclosure of contributors in IE communications. This is a new memo.

We also reissued a memo of support for:

• S8934 (Liu) / A10471 (Septimo) – Allows new mayors to decide whether to continue lame-duck charter commissions. This bill was introduced in the Assembly by AM Septimo.

We urge the Legislature to pass these bills.
